WHERE: TAYLOR VFW BUILDING (on the North side of Square)

TIME: FRIDAY NIGHT: 7:00 pm (Hot Dogs & Hamburgers for early arrivals)


BREAKFAST: on your own (Cafe "Lazy D" in Taylor serves Breakfast)

LUNCH: 11:30 until? Cold cuts fix your own sandwich with chips and relishes


(1) 2-4 pm floating the Calamus River north of Taylor in a tank or tube. Need a head count around May 1st to reserve tanks. Call Gerald at (308) 942-6032 or email Cost: $65 per tank and it holds about 850 lbs and $20 per tube (you can bring your own coolers with cold drinks and snacks for your tank)

(2) Dennis and Rex Hoobler will be giving a historic tour Saturday afternoon (possibly Sunday Morning if interest)

SATURDAY EVENING: Prime Rib Supper at 6:30 and Hasty Pie Dessert Bar (John Hoobler Special). (Need approximate head count by May 1st to get meat ordered). Gerald (308) 942-6032 or email (See Silent Auction note below)

SING ALONG in the park after dark. For those who are musically talented, bring your equipment and have your voices ready (the rest of us promise to just to listen)

POEM CONTEST: Compose a Hoobler Poem for Saturday evening reading

SUNDAY: Brunch 9:00 to ? Will have various church times posted at VFW

There will be a Silent Auction all day Saturday with final bid at 8:30 pm. Donated items will be gratefully appreciated. The proceeds from silent auction are intended to defray the costs of snacks, Prime Rib Dinner and Sunday brunch but will depend upon participation. Every donation will help with the effort.
